    Unfortunately Demo accounts are an essential tool for forward testing. I do agree however that for this purpose the PRT one is not what you would call a reliable representation of reality.

    A demo account that works would be extremely useful I agree 100%. Sadly whenever I tried using it it only made problems. When reporting this problems PRT answered they would be aware of all the bugs in the demo accounts but that they lack resources to maintain both live and demo accounts and there prioritize the live accounts. So it is not that I don’t see the value n a demo account but my impression of the PRT demo account is that has not much to do with how your strategy will behave live. So if you first debug a strategy on the demo account you can start all over again when switching to live.
