I experience a problem again and again that I described earlier here on he forum. I also reported it to PRT but never got an answer except that “they are working on it”.
When the error occurs I have a strategy running and a trade is triggered. But instead of opening one position PRT opens 2! Only one of this two open positions is later controlled by my strategy the second is completely as if I opened it manually without a stop loss or take profit. If I don’t close the second position manually it will stay open indefinitely.
It is right now happening for a strategy that I run on chicago wheat. Did anybody here experience similar? I really dislike this problem because I have my strategies always running and such an uncontrolled open position can cause big damage to my account.
I have a similar problem. When testing my system in the ADMP ticket, it does not present any problem, as it is seen in the list of orders:

But when executing my System on the DCIX ticket, the System duplicates both the purchase orders and the ordinary sales orders:

- I'm not running 2 systems on the same ticket
- The system in test test mode behaves without any problem
It happened to now 3-4 times in live trading. I reported it and PRT answered that there is something going wrong internally in the communication with IG. I hope the march update will finally fix the problem.
It’s a bit frustrating the subject. I have used a timeframe of 5/3 minutes and duplicate purchase and sale operations appear. I wrote to pro realtime support but there is still no answer
I reported this error first time 2-3 months ago and still there was no answer except “we are working on it”. Like I wrote above, let’s hope that the update that shall come in march will fix the problem.
