Prt 11 Volumi negativi e positivi

    Buonasera, navigando tra le varie cose della piattaforma ho visto che viene indicato quando viene posizionato il cursore sui volumi, un volume negativo ed uno positivo.

    Siccome la trovo una cosa molto interessante, come si fa ad ottenere il comando per poi poter creare eventualmente altri indicatori da tale indicazione o ad andare a testare in probacktest?

    Hello,

    These numbers refer to the indicator Volume on price. This indicator is a histogram on price levels which is constructed as follows :

    • For each candlestick that appears on your chart, the corresponding volume is reported at the close price of the candlestick.
    • If the candlestick is green (open < close), the volume of this candlestick will be considered as positive volume. If it is red (open <= close), the volume will be considered as negative volume.
    • Once the volume for each candlestick displayed is reported, the price range is divided in a number of bars of your choice (defined in the configuration of the indicator) and the histogram is constructed by adding all the volumes reported in each bar.

    Since this indicator does not gives a specific value to each candlestick (but rather to each price level) and is very dependent on the history displayed on your chart, it is not usable directly in your code.
