I have decided to open this thread so that we can discuss possible issues/frustrations and hopefully their solutions ‘workarounds’ with regards to our experience with PRT v11.1 (IG Demo).
I have already noticed an v11.1 related issue pop-up in a thread it isn’t supposed to:
https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/mother-of-dragons-trading-strategy/page/33/
It relates to a negative values ‘glitch’ affecting the backtest optimization variables.
My experience is that it is simply due to accidentally moving the mouse scroll wheel that causes this.
This might just be my ‘Systems Analyst’ experience speaking but my general feel so far is that the v11 UI is very ‘messy’.
The v10 interface was much cleaner and much more intuitive and user friendly.

! I totally disagree, now everything is well sorted in the treeview menu in options, much easier to find the settings, everything in the same place.
I agree there is a big gap between the 2 versions in terms of look and feel, but UI/UX have been greatly improved IMO! Since there are numerous changes in functionalities and design, many people have to get new habits, what you feel is exactly what some people have felt when it was first release (almost 2y now).
This thread is a good idea by the way 😉

Something wrong with the trailing stop on 11,1 (demo manual trading)
I open a trade on 10,3 and when i try open another one with same settings on 11,1 its rejected
Maybe its me getting to old for this..
I obviously love all the new ‘long awaited’ functionality and even the ability to group and customize, but have to maintain that it just doesn’t feel as clean as it could be. Functionality should never come at the expense of simplicity. But as with everything there would always be an element of personal preference.
Having put some serious hours into customizing the v11.1 interface, I have got it to a point where it is quite acceptable in terms of ‘experience’ compared to v10. So I will concede to Nicolas’ comment

How are the various risks and %risks calculated
@juanj, @Nicolas, in your opinion should I use v11.1 or v10.3? Is v11.1 running reliably or still with some issues? Do v10.3 and v11.1 give the same results backtesting and live? many thanks
