I noticed a strange problem with PRT. I have a account with IG en running a strategy on BTC. On a Sunday however indicator data made visible with “graph” (e.g. graph Average[20](close)) doens’t plot on a Sunday. Instead it plots old data from Saturday. Strangely enough it does plot the data on the indicator window normally. The problem also manifests itself when the Proorder buys and sells at prices shown by “graph”.
I have attacthed a picture to see the problem
Any idea what the problem is?
I do not know if the problem is related but I just had the information that there are difficulties with the data of the weekend on the cryptocurrencies in general .. Did you directly contact the technical support via the platform tool? (CTRL + M)
Not yet but I will. Thank you!
Still it is strange that the indicator window prints the data correctly, but not the “graph” function
These are 2 separated engines (ProBacktest <> ProBuilder).
Also, FYI, please note that ProOrder is on “hold” for automatic trading with cryptocurrencies because of this trouble with weekend data, and I don’t know when it will be available again..

Can you please update us on this issue Nicolas? It’s been half a year since your post, but I experience that ProOrder is still not working in XBTUSD CFD in the weekend.
I’m not into crypto, but I will ask again about this. Could you please also send a tech report with a link to this thread? Thanks.

Thank you, I will be pleased to hear about this. I tested several strategies, it’s not strategy specific. What’s remarkable is that the chart doesn’t “expect” there to be a next bar during the weekend on the time axis. For example if it’s 13:00 on Saturday, the chart displays correctly all the past bars, but it expects the next bar to be on Monday according to the time axis. However, if the intraday bar is finished, the next Saturday bar inserts correctly. On the attached image this becomes clear as there was data past weekend, but next Saturday there’s no data expected. The issue is quite significant since the underlying Bitcoin is a 24/7 market.

I confirm ProOrder works in the weekend now with XBT/USD!
