  Hi, wondering if someone can help me with this indicator. Explained like this:

  “i take a moving average of the 1 day true range divided by the close and i just average that over 20 days”

   

  Not sure i udnerstand what he means, anyone know?

  I think this may be the formula:

  x = (averagetruerange[1]/close) //maybe this should also be averaged? by how many periods? y = average[20](x) return y

  Seems good Roberto, much Thanks.

   

  Ive gotten som very interesting results using this, adding a moving average on the indicator as use it as a filter. Also checking it in other higher timeframes.
