Hi fellas,
I’ve noticed that the Pivot Points are different in ProRealTime compared to those on FXPro and Pepperstone (Brokers). They are also different to TradingView’s Pivots (which are the same as FXPro’s and all other brokers.
Can we please have them corrected? Many times I see the PRT’s Pivot Points are labelled as P2 whereis on the other platforms they are P1 and sometimes they are not even in the right places on the PRT platform. If we could get them fixed that would be great. Cheers! 🙂
There are 3 ways of calculation for the pivot points of the platform. You can choose the one that suit your trading style in the indicator window.
Also, some pivot points don’t use the Sunday data, maybe you notice difference only on Monday?
Thanks Nic,
I think you may be right. Would you happen to have a simple Pivot Point code which draws just the straight lines across the screen for intraday?
Just like these ones in the picture below. But display in smaller timeframes like 15M etc without squashing the charts.
I believe the one embedded in the platform should do what you want .. I’m using it everyday accross any intraday timeframe charts and it displays correctly 🙂
Thanks Nic,
The one in the platform doesn’t show the pivots as continuous straight lines across the screen. Do you happen to know how I can do this? Or if there is a code for this please? 🙂
You mean to the right of the price? Not possible in PRT v10.2 I’m sorry.
