what I’m not making clear is I trade with IG Index spreadbetters and their chart is 24hr rolling.

i want the pivots on the chart to only take into account the price action between 8am gmt and 16:30 gmt

and for the US indices between 14:00gmt and 21:00gmt

What you need is a customized pivot points indicator where you can set yourself the start and end time. This way, the pivot point formula will get the OHLC between theses 2 hours… Hmm that sounds complicated at first glance!

    Hi

Did anyone manage to get this working?

I have an indicator code, but it requires you to type in the pivot levels from an external site. Something that would automatically populate them would be ideal.

The only thing with that code is when you hover the mouse over the bar, it displays all the values, which makes it not fit on the chart if the window isn’t full screen.

Don’t know how to adjust that.

I’m not sure to understand, there are many indicators and discussions related to pivot points on the website, you can try to make a research with the search form in the top bar. I recently improved the search engine of the site.
