Pathfinder swing TS

In this topic I’d like to publish all Pathfinder swing trading algorithms. The swing trading robots based on the Pathfinder daily code and are adapted to the monthly saisonality introduced with the original Pathfinder Trading System. Each month was separated in two parts (day 1 – 15 and 16 – 31) and the saisonal behavior was determined. The idea is to check twice a month for which instruments Pathfinder swing TS find a promising setup based on historical tests. Pathfinder swing robots running in demo account will deliver the trade signal or can trade automaticly in life account as well. Please find attached the Pathfinder swing roadmap for almost 30 instruments. I will attach the robots for the most promising setups on this post for the current/next period. Pathfinder strategies offer a statistical advantage but are of course not a holy grail and there is no guarantee to make money with it. The systems are optimized for historical data and historical gains are not a garantee to be successful in the future. I strictly recommend to adjust the position sizes to your personal account size and try first in demo mode. The results in life trading will differ from the backtest results. I also recommend to start in life trading with a small account size. Anyone can use the programs for free and at their own risk. Pathfinder swing is my privat and fully transparent algorithmic trading project exclusively implemented for ProRealTime 10.2. @MichiM please forgive the daft question, I’m trying to get into this Thread / Strategy and I picked yours 2 x long Australien Swing @ 5666.70 live @ 01.02.17 14:00 to try and reproduce so I know I’m on the right track 🙂

Why might I not see a entry trigger for 1 Feb 17 … see below for my result for CFD on ASX using Pathfinder-ASX-F1F2-swing-V1.itf .

@dajvop Also I tried to reproduce your DAX swing long Feb 2 1am at 11656.3 (live) and could not. I am checking on Demo, you and MichiM are both on Live may this be the only reason I cannot reproduce or am I missing something?

Comments / answers from anybody appreciated please?

Well, neither the ASX nor DAX signals show in my backtests… So I do not really have an answer for you at this time.

Maybe someone else can enlighten us?

Regarding the entrysignal for the ASX i think the following:

The order was effected yesterdayafternoon at 14.00 hours CET, so at 13.00 your time.

You see the confirmation in the BT with one day delay. (it is a day chart). This means that you probably will see it within a half an hour.

Why this trade was effected at 14.00 hours and not at 01.00 hours: don’t know unfortunately. There are also other trades that are effected one, two hours earlier or later. It must have something to do with the settings in PRT i guess or the servers we log on at PRT.

Same with DAX. It was effected at 01.00 hours this morning. So you will see it in the backtest the coming night at 01.00 hours….

When Reiner said earlier … first post Pathfinder-STE-J2F1F2-swing-V1.itf [delete] … is he telling us that Pathfinder-STE-J2F1F2-swing-V1.itf in the Hall of Fame on the 1st Post of this Thread is pulled / do not use?

If No, what is Reiner saying please?
