But this is what you showed yourself (this must have been from PRT-IB).

In the last attachment you see that the closest Long order was filled, so the position changed from -5 to -4.

This is my PRT-IB Demo account, but in live it works exactly the same.

You can do many more nice tricks like bouncing from a Buy Long to a Sell Short higher-up, meanwhile again setting a Sell Short below. Some times things swing nicely for 30 minutes or so and you always win. Until that last trade. 🙂

I see that I forgot to press OK in that 2nd screenshot in my previous post. I changed it after all (from 2 to 3 positions).

PS: The Long (4) is now filled as well. See 2nd attachment. There’s a catch here because originally it was Short 5, meanwhile changed to Short 4 making it necessary to change the Long 5 to Long 4 or else I would now have been Long 1.

    Etc.

Here I am combinding things (looks like what GraHal did). But I am changing the top order from 2 to 1.
And as you see (3rd attachment) that all works (the bottom connected order is still at 2).

In the 4th attachment you see that all orders were automatically filled/eliminated. As it looks the pints can be on me now (paper pints but alas).

Maybe for others too : With PRT-IB it is not possible to have opposite orders at the same time. So all seems a bit upside down from PRT-IG.

Here you see what I meant with the “swinging”. Either the Long or the Short will be taken first. Probably the Short … So waiting for that. Yep. Done.
Now wait for it going down again – on its way to the Long.

Because the trend seems to be up, when it is half-way I will put a Short again, somewhat higher than the original Short. In the 3rd attachment I did that.

    Have fun.

PS: The bottom order should be 10. So I changed that.

    Thanks for the screenshots Peter!

Yes it works perfectly with IB, so I’ll suggest to PRT IG if they can add this. If not I guess I’ll change my broker from IG to IB

I might try PRT with IB

Yes it works perfectly with IB

So did you already have an Account with IB or did you open an Account with IB in less than 2 hours?

Only asking out of interest in case I may need to go with IB also!! 🙂
