When using the ProrealTime optimiser $values > 1,000 used to have a comma as the thousands separator. Recently this appears to have been changed to a non-printable character (in fact it appears to be a Unicode character number 160). A snip of the output is attached. This means that, when the optimiser results are dragged into Excel for further analysis, the fields are not recognised as numeric. Manipulation of the output is needed to remove the non-printable character. It would be much more convenient if the comma separator was restored (or even no separator at all). Of greater concern is the fact that the ProRealTime product appears to have had unanounced changes made to it.
Thanks,
Peter Dazeley.
Hi Peter,
Thousand Separator and Excel
The issue itself has been solved and since two weeks or so we can see that in the IB version of PRT. But not so in the IG version, which never received an update so far.
Hello Peter, Thanks for the update. Is it possible to know when the IG version of PRT will be updated? …Peter.
Hi Peter,
I think you too will have the (IG) version from June 22 up since a couple of days. In there it is restored to normal.
Regards,
Peter
Yes is has been fixed. Thanks for your help. …Peter.
