    Does anyone know if it is possible to open both Long and Short positions at the same time (PRT-IB)?

    No, this is not possible – not with Manual Trading and not with Autotrading (IB would be able to do it with AutoTrading, but PRT messes up).
    With PRT-IG this is possible, definitely with Manual Trading. With Autotrading I am not so sure but with two Strategies onto one instrument it again definitely is possible.
