Once x = 0

    Merry Christmas everyone.

I see a lot of codes in this forum start with “Once variable = 0”. This statement seems to be redundant in most cases. In fact I haven’t found any code which this line would make a difference.

I believe in other languages you have to define variables before using them and most people are using the same method but that’s not necessary in PRT. Can anyone prove otherwise?

If you have a variable that you want to start at a certain level and then be adjusted by the strategy then this is the way to ensure that happens surely.

You are right, declaring variables is not necessary in probuilder. X is equal to 0, if you are not defining any other value for it.

Sometimes, depending of the way the program is coded, it’s necessary to give variables values, but once, that is the purpose of this instruction.
