Hi everyone,

most charting platform include the OBV indicator. Usually it is calculated on the closing price. However at PRT you can have it calculated different ways.

The enclosed chart shows 2 methods: in Blue line = Total (O+H+L+C)/4 and in Black the traditional OBV on the close

you can play with the different ones but you will find big differences between them.

does anyone has an opinion on which method is the most accurate or best?

Legend

OBV is a summation of Volumes based on real price is higher or lower than the yesterday real price. I mean real = official, so I bet the best is to use Close price.
