No Volume for This Security

    Hi all,

    I get this error when trying to add a simple volume indicator to any forex chart.

    “No Volume for This Security”

    Anyone know why?

    Yeah … or once the message is correct ( 🙂 ) Forex do not show volume,

    Try the same exercise on for example the Dow Jones or the DAX and you will see volume.

    Hello,

    There is no volume on any Forex pair as IG doesn’t send us that data feed.

    If you are interested in Forex volume you can consult it directly on the IG platform and as GraHal said, volume is available for any other instrument on out platform.

    Thanks for the info.

     

    This is worrying as volume is critical in forex. Well for me anyways…

     

    I was busy building an automated strategy for forex and wanted to include volume
