No orders waiting in order book

Hiya

I’ve only just discovered the order book on ProRealTime as I have always traded directly from the charts. However, although I can see executed trades flashing up from time to time on the “ladder”, there’s never any orders shown as waiting to be matched in the red and green columns. I’ve watched the videos which show these orders, but they just aren’t there on my order book. I thought this would be PRT’s version of Level 2 data, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be for me. I’ve had a good play around with the settings for both the Vertical and Horizontal but I can’t seem to get any useful data, and certainly not as the videos suggest it should be.

Any thoughts on what I might be foing wrong?

Hello Crocogotter, it’s hard to say without seeing how you have set up the settings of your platform. The best way to have this figured out for you would be to send a tech report to your support team from Help > Technical support/Help center so they would look into it.

If you ask me … PRT-IG (left) does not have an order book to show. PRT-IB (right) does …
