Anybody local (ish) to me (Chester, Cheshire) fancy meeting up for a chat over a beer, coffee whatever … to discuss PRT and Trading in general?
I am a member of a North West UK Traders group who meet near Warrington so we could tag onto that meetup and maybe cross-fertilize. I hardly ever go to the NW meetup but feel I’d like to make a fresh start somehow and make a few new mates (who trade / code) for new year! 🙂

Hi GraHal, post moved as requested, I’ll keep an eye on your meeting dates in case I happen to be in the UK when there’s one… I used to live in Bristol a few years ago and went to Broughton a few times, I’ve left many friends behind and a visit over there is long overdue…

Haha small world Noobywan, I was born and bred in Broughton, my parents met making WWII Wellington Bombers at the Aircraft factory! I also finished my career with 7 years at Broughton / Airbus having worked for MoD at RAF Sealand for nearly 30 years!
Ironic thing is … since about 2001 I ‘dodged and weaved out of coding roles’ and now, in my retirement – after joining this Community – I cannot escape coding any longer … the rewards are too high, well not yet! 🙂 but ‘2018 is a new 365 page book’ … onwards and upwards!

Thought I’d resurrect this Thread as I’ve got similar thoughts again this New Year ! 🙂
So we have Me, Dave and maybe Noobywan for a meet up somewhere in a triangle drawn between Chester, Bridgnorth and maybe Manchester?
I guess we could start a Facebook Group or other similar virtual meet-up App but a real time face to face meet-up would be better?
Any ideas / suggestions welcome??

I’m based in Chester (well my business is, I live on the Wirral). Are you actually based in Chester or just close to it? I’m always around Chester and could meet up for a coffee during the day etc..

I’m 15 mins drive from Chester in Flintshire.
