It’s suite, so it would work (As Jsmooth and so on)
coef is good
I will think about it but actually I don’t see what is wrong
ok, as promised, I found at least 1 strategy who works with the indicator under discussion.
its on eurchf 30 min. Here is the code, I just started to work on that, so it is a bit rough.
Nicolas, I attached a new version of the indicator as discussed, I added the nice graphical version provided by Ale, then mean, and bollinger band.
Thanks
Francesco
Thanks Francesco, but you should have used a longer period to compute the mean and its deviation IMO, I haven’t opened your code already but did you try to optimize these values?
i have used the 20 period for mean and stdev. the 2 that you see in the picture is how many standard deviations the indicator is taking to define the bollinger bar.
yes in the strategy I have optimized the parameter number of stdev but not the period of the moving average
Can someone provide the code for ReverseEMA in thinkscript for me please
Thanks
Just like an MACD, who cares?
There is a “zero” level, but I understand your concern .. how to use it effectively? Maybe the answers are in the Ehlers’ interview?
Yes, It like a MACD with fast setting and smoothed.
You can simple place REVERSE EMA with macd ( 9, 17, 4) together in subchart to compare.
Nearly overlap in most of the time.
When comparing with standard macd, you can take the Cross over as swing signal to do.
Hi,
I listen to the podcast on this one, (bettersystemtrader), and found it interesting. But they never talked about how to trade this indicator. I made a scanner for this one, looking for share that moves from negative to positive. But I can’t say that that gave me anything, very bad result trying to paper trade long in those scenarios…. :-/
Anyone here have an suggestions on how to trade this indicator?
