New forum version/CSS is ???

Hi Nicolas,

I did not want to post about *that* exactly, but I now additionally notice that the creation of  a new topic is hidden far away at the bottom of the list of posts for a board (like this board) ? That can’t be intentional.
Anyway what I wanted to tell initially :

1. During the making of a post, we can add one attachment only. A next can only be done via Editing the post.
2. After I attached the (e.g.) screenshot, I can’t see it myself (not in thumbnail format – and not at all except for a ling to it). This does not work conveniently.
3. Can the status of people being Online or not return please ?
4. In the one situation I tried the past days, I was unable to quote from a post with a Code (the blue button) in it; whatever I tried I could not manage to get in the code within a quote, also not when I typed in the code newly (instead of copy-paste etc.).

 

I waited a small week before mentioning this because I estimate you are busy, but I now think that maybe you did not notice these things yourself ?

Hi, indeed I made some changes to make the website/forum works faster.

I think that your browser cache might have kept the old files, so you should force the refresh of them by clicking reloading the website with a full cache flush: hit CTRL+F5

or empty your browser cache/history in your browser settings.

Ctrl+F5 solved #1 and #2. #4 I can’t check at this moment.

Who is online is still not visible.

How you getting above?? The most recently discussed Topic always shows at the Top for each respective Forum.
So a new Topic would appear at the top … unless I’ve not noticed and a new topic goes to the bottom until discussed by another member??

Your face always showed whether you’re online or not (mostly Yes 😉 ).
Of course I am not going to that list to explicitly look for that. Then I suddenly have better things to do. 🙁

The adding of a new topic remains at the bottom of the board.
The option to do this via  a button on top of the board has disappeared. And indeed I have never seen such a thing anywhere. 😉

I often have 20 to 30 tabs open at once and this might include several instances of PRT, so yes – I may look as though I am online – but I’m often doing other stuff on my PC and have inadvertently left PRT tabs open.

I actively pop into PRT many times per day … in between manual trades or when price is not moving etc.

Let’s try a quote of q quote of a code. But this already looks odd. See screenshot.

But this time (somehow) it worked.

It already does not work now, and this is caused by the FIRST quote. So select that piece of text explicitly instead of quoting the lot as I did above (2nd quote) :

But, managed to let that work after all.

Then copy the contents and put it in a new code block :

x = rsi[14] if x crosses over 50 then buy at market endif

1 2 3 4 5 6 7

x = rsi[14]   if x crosses over 50 then   buy at market   endif

That seems to work too.

And now it does work.

… I don’t know. It is about some first action applied. Like earlier on : a first quote (with code) worked, and the next really did not. The one from ZeroCafeine also really did not work.

 

 

No, it did NOT (properly) work !

That piece now looks like my screenshot from the one but last post. But this was done with copy paste.

Syntax highlight are encapsulated into HTML tags, so as you know if a tag is missing, then all is messed up! 😆
