Hello there at prorealtime

I’m trying to build ATR range bands

Now I know there’s aTR bands and I have been using them but they’re not doing what I need them to do do so I’ve tried manipulating them to the best of my abilities.

Basically I want to take the range of the ATR of the closing price of today’s candle and then project that onto the charts of the Open of the next candle and then so on

The reason why why the other ATR tools mostly change until the Close of that bar.

I am trying to use it as a stop and take profit and backtest it and from that test in the others they just was not working out

So if you could please help me I would be very grateful thank you very much

You are returned an ATR value; to make bands around it you need a percentage or standard deviation to build the upper and lower bands.

Is that what you need?
