Neutral Zone Strategy

Hello everyone! I’d like to share a strategy that was in the back of my head for a while now. This strategy is based on the opening of the DowJones (it can maybe applied to other) . It makes a zone arround the level of opening x points over and under and once it crosses over or under this zone with a “flat ass” heikin ashi it buys or sells. I’ve done two codes as I’d like to change the variable for the short and the long one individualy. Please do not hesitate to give your opinion oryour improvements! 🙂 Cheers 😉

This one for the DAX might be more promising ??

(positionsize = 2, so ~comparable to the DJ)

I onserve that DAX-10s-Neutral-Zone-v5-mtf is really better in short than long. I share the long&short and short only.

Maybe better in short only. We will see with time

I’m having a problem with the strategy getting stopped due to order too close to minimum distance.

Since it happened this morning, I can still see the data but debugging doesn’t make me any wiser.

A short trade was opened and had been opened for about an hour, so most likely it would have something to do with newSL being updated. But nothing like that is happening. Nothing else was happening that had to do with buy or sell, at least in the backtest.

Any clues?

When you launch it, tick the box that says “Readjust stops”
