Just wanted to share a setup I am testing this week.

I found that the standard Ichimoku cloud is too messy for crypto scalping. I removed the cloud and the lagging span, and I only kept the Tenkan and Kijun lines. When they cross on the 5-minute chart with high volume, it seems to be a reliable signal for scalping ETH, much faster than a standard moving average crossover.

I’ve attached the indicator file with my specific settings and thinner lines if anyone wants to try it on their charts. Let me know if you find a good timeframe for this.

No issue for me with V12. What PRT version / broker please?

Mmm weird, I tried several times, same error.

I also tried import an Indicator file from the Library and got the same error message – see attached.

I successfully imported a different Indicator from my ‘Downloads folder’ and got the ‘successful ‘ message attached.

Apologies for message-bombing this Group btw.

No, I don’t trade Cryptos, sorry, but who knows I might start doing! šŸ™‚

My problem surely has to be to do with file association? My problem only started since we had the new PRC Platform. I can’t believe I am the only one with a problem??

Anybody please, can you tell me what your .ITF files are associated with?

Mine are currently as attached, but I still cannot open .itf files in PRT.

Any comments welcome or please you try and import the .itf file attached to this Topic and let me know your outcome?

Are you still on MacOS? There is no file association in operating system for itf files.

So far, I have no idea why you have this on your computer..

To import itf files, just do as usual, drag and drop or use the import button.

    I’ve never used MacOS.

I can still Import into my PRT Platform ‘old’ ,itf files / previously downloaded from the previous version of PRC website.

I just did above (a few mins ago) using the Import button.

I cannot import .itf files downloaded from the new version PRC website.

I will keep trying different things / ideas (I’ll try a drag & drop) as I think of them and report back if I have any success.

When I try and drag & drop directly into PRT I get the attached error message.

In my opinion, there is something wrong with the .itf file attached to this Thread.

I downloaded an .itf from the ‘Dark Side’ Group and all worked as normal.

When I download the .itf file attached to this Thread, I cannot then import the code into PRT (see my previous posts for more detail).

I would appreciate if a 3rd person (Nicolas did say all is okay) can try download / import to confirm or refute my experience?

    Thanks
