Is this problem just for me? Ive sent a mail to PRT.
No matter what i do i cant seem to get to backtest everything, and yes i have checked off the “tick by tick” box, so it shouldnt cap it!
Some markets cap me more than others, example in photo is dax 1h. Whats going on here..? Just me?
ive tried restarting PRT.. I have a PRT premium account with 200K
Edit: Added another photo of 1h us tech 100, ive always had this data available for backtesting before?
Yes I have the same problem than you since yesterday and sometimes I get strange results on some backtests or it just backtest on a much smaller period.

Okay so its not just me then i guess..
Why has noone on forum brought this up yet.. or have i missed a topic..?
Hopefully they fix this and even more hopefully they give us v11..
More of a platform question than a general discussion question so topic moved to the correct forum.
Demo or live? v10.3 or v11? Have you sent a report via your platform? My IG demo was not connected for most of yesterday so I assumed there was an issue or an update going on. Perhaps something got broken.

hello
i tested this code 3 months ago with no issues. Testing the same code now is impossible. The data seems totally off and give some very strange losses.
Instrument = eurjpy

Might the corona virus have anything to do with the difference in behaviour since 3 months ago?
On some forex pairs there’s this bug that shows a huge drawdown with huge money loss amount. You can “fix” it by setting the initial capital of the system to 10000000000000000000000; when you will run the backtest it will be everything normal.
Hi guys, I have noticed the exact same problem(s) on my PRT version (premium connect to a live IG account) on the 1h-chart, while on the daily chart, things seem to work as usual. On the 1-h chart, no matter what starting time is set, if it is before Aug 1, 2010, backtests without tick-by-tick mode start on Aug 1 or 2, 2010 – which corresponds to the earliest date available in tick-by-tick mode. And yes, I had strange backtest results on GBPJPY with outrageously high losses (but only about half of the time…). Anyway, there seem to be some bugs in the system. I wrote an error report to PRT and hope the problems will be resolved soon.
Good evening,
Look at this screen, I’m on 10.3.
Quick withdraw and close your Account … see you in Monaco, beers are on you! 🙂

So PRT has suddenly gone completely bonkers? what the hell… How many days do they need to fix this..
Have you reported the Issue direct to PRT?

Is it on all Instruments and all Timeframes?
I was backtesting over the weekend on the DJI and DAX and all seemed good.
Seems only related to JPY forex pairs?
