Missing Alert Lines

    I have no idea, my alerts work properly, with both native and custom indicators.

    I have simplified several indicators to the minimum necessary to generate a signal, i.e. drawing squares a number of bars in the past, removed them, re-attached them to an alert and removed and re-placed several others. it seems to work now, the alerts remain in place now

    Hi all…

    Had another session trying to work out what’s happening.

    It appears, that if your on the ‘Main Chart Study’, then all alert’s work as normal.

    Move to a different ‘Chart Study’, then previous   ‘Main Chart Study’ alerts are invisible.

     

    Setting a general alert on any different ‘Chart Study’ doesn’t draw the alert Line but does set the alert.

    Setting an alert to a line, draws the guide alert line, and set alert when appended to a line’.

     

    Moving back to ‘Main Chart Study’ shows, the additional general alerts line which was set on the different  ‘Chart Study’, but alert to a line are  invisible.

     

    So the reason alerts lines showed up on instruments I do not use is because these are still on their default ‘Main Chart Study’ for that instrument.

     

    Now as far as I recall,  general alerts worked on all different ‘Chart Studies’ but I may be mistaken and never ever set an alert.
