I am almost ready to move an application from my IG Demo account onto my live account.

The minimum contrat size in the IG Demo account for the US500 is 100 which equtaes to £1 a point.

Is this the same in the live account?

US500 min pos size (on UK SB) is 1 which is £1 per point.

To check what is the minimum, get your Live Platform open and enter 1, it is accepted; enter 0.5 and it does not accept it or goes red.

I think on US500 with IG the minimum NON PRT is £0.01
so 100 times that is £1.

My Demo is open at the mo, but see attached … Platform will not accept o.5 as it turns red then disappears and 1 reappears.

Which US500 Contract are your comments referring to (my screenshot is for US500 £1 Contract) ?
