    I have been programming here for a few weeks and it’s been going great, largely thanks to the great supply of already answered questioned, however I haven’t found an answer to my problem.

    Is there any way to calculate the max position size you can afford? My ig account is in SEK and my main strategy trades the YEN, I know about strategyprofit but since the sek/jpy also fluctuates it would eventually go bad, any ideas?

    Otherwise I will just adjust it by hand but it would be so much simpler to just fix something, that’s why we algo trade anyways 😉

    Simply convert your capital (SEK) + StrategyProfit (SEK) to YEN:

    SEKcapital = 10000
    MyEquity   = SEKcapital + StrategyProfit
    YENequity  = MyEquity * close   //(10000 + gains) * 12.30 (approximately)

    then you can use a % of the converted equity to trade.
