Manual entry with Automated exit?

    Do you know how to set an Alert using on v11?

    Did you know how to set an Alert on v10.3?

    Yes i know to set alert. Associating trigger would hedge a position not close open position based on trigger. Could you please explain what you mean?

    It’s all there on the screen shot I posted 3 or 4 posts above.

    You can buy or sell with an Alert and if you set Force Open to Disabled then hopefully it should exit / close yuor open trade?

    Give ot a go on your Demo Account and let us know please?

    Try it on x10.3 first as then you have the screen shot to look at for settings etc.

    The when you have it working you can move onto v11 and find the respective settings?

    Hi Grahal

    I tried using alert to close the position with disabled force open. However, the danger of this method is that, if the stop gets hit before the alert triggers, it will open a new order with NO STOP LOSS.

    If you include stop loss in order via Alert, then force open (disabled) does not work. It opens two orders in opposite direction

    Being able to put a stop with alert order with disabled force open, would be little better but not sure if this feature is any useful at all for closing positions.

    What is your view?

    Above would be very useful. It has always annoyed me that this is not possible.
