    Hello,

I am starting a backtesting project on the 5m timeframe and I was wondering if it would be possible for a code to activate the right (scrolling) arrow every x seconds like the TradingView replay function?

I like to take correlated assets into consideration when backtesting; is there a possibility to link charts in a way that if click the right arrow on one chart it will activate it on the other charts open?

    Many thanks for your time!

Theres no auto-replay function (yet). I asked about this some days ago. What you can do even (though its not near what you asked for 😀 ) is use the ctrl + left/right arrow (or if on MAC= CMD+arrows) to skip ahead or back manually.

Thanks for your reply! Yes there is the manual version but I was wondering is there is a possibility to write a code that could do exactly that before the next version of the platform.

I am sure there is a way; during automated backtesting the platform does the same thing, go through each period candle by candle but I am not too good with programming.

I found a very unconventional solution that works.

There is an autoclick programme by Murgee that can click a specific area of the screen at user defined intervals. It can even be set to click various location on the screen at one time and repeat the action every X seconds.

Hope this helps anyone and good discipline trading!
