Backtesting NOT WORKING

    Backtesting NOT WORKING. Even “close today >+ close previous” renders no results even with months of data. It worked last week. Tried different time settings, different instruments, logging on and off again. I am a new user and i this is not very reassuring. Does it crash a lot? Can i trust it with autotrading Algos?

    I have no problems with the backtester.

    What error are you getting? Can you share the code?

    Hi Kestrel,

    Did you try to change the contract size? It might not be compatible with the selected instruments?

    Hi Nicolas & Ivan – thanks for responses. I walked away & then this morning decided to delete the backtests and start from scratch again to eliminate any problems from playing / learning about configurations. It now seems to be working again.

    I am pleased to know that everything is working properly again.

    Sometimes I can’t find certain bugs, but after a break, like magic, I find them much faster! Moral of the story: always take breaks while working 😆
