    Hello people,

    Does anyone know how i can make an MACD screen give results for only stocks with rising or falling MACD histogram?

    An MACD uptick screen is easy as the indicator is already there, but i want to also screen for stocks where an uptick has already happened and the MACD histogram is still rising (or falling) – but want to screen so i dont get both risers and fallers.

    Thanks for any help.

    Well just looking for ascending (below zero line) or descending (above zero line) regardless of when happened.

    Cheers

    All i was looking to do was to screen for stocks where the MACD histogram is below the zero line AND ascending. Like this chart on the far right before todays breakout ;

    I can use the upturn/downturn indicator = 0 , but that would include results where the MACD is also DESCENDING. Would like to narrow it down to those ASCENDING.

    Cheers for any help.
