Hello all,
I’m pretty new to ProBuilder in ProRealTime and been working on developing an automated trading strategy. However, I have come across a problem, in that the strategy does not trade as planned. Everything regarding trigger requires of the trades seems correct, but it does not always get executed or goes off with delays.
I’ve gone through the code and trigger conditions many times and everything seems to be established correctly, however, I think I’m missing something around execution. I’m quite simply using market orders and establishing stop losses, but timing seems a bit off.
I came across this website: https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/multi-timeframe-mtf-indicators-for-prorealtime/ but still facing issues.
Has anyone come across issues where ProBuilder hasn’t triggered orders or executed trades at the timeframe accordingly? Are there some common errors or settings that I may have missed? Furthermore, does anybody have any advice on smooth execution of strategies or improving the accuracy of order trigger in ProBuilder?
I would really welcome any guidance or suggestions from anyone who has experienced similar switches and challenges!
Thanks in advance,

Welcome on ProRealCode website, the Probuilder forum you just posted this subject in is mostly for indicators (codes used to add display inside or below the price window in PRT, but not sending orders), you want your post to appear in the Proorder forum (codes for backtesting and/or automatic strategies) to reach more readers able to help on automated trading strategies.
No need to retype your post though, I am moving it to the appropriate proorder forum. The forums mentionned in the yellow box rules (at bottom of this page) may be found/linked by category and language on the following page for future reference:

If you’re looking for help with your code, it’s best to share your code (or a part of it) here so that forum members know exactly what you’re talking about…
(By the way, what does this have to do with CISSP training?)1 user thanked author for this post.
