Indicators and Trading Systems Window Won't Show Up!

    The software worked great for two days but today all of a sudden when I click on the button to open the window where I create new indicators, the window won’t show! The chart window would fade out as it usually does when the other window is opened and it would stay faded until I press escape. If I press alt-tab to see open windows, not I see the “indicators and trading systems” window there, but trying to select it would take me to the last open window (other than PTR).

    I tried to reinstall several times, tried using different browsers, rebooted, even deleted the whole installation folder and reinstalled, but so far nothing works. I hope someone has a solution or some suggestions?

    What Operating system do you use?

    Uninstall PRT
    Delete Temp JAVA files-
    If you use Windows go to Control Panel – Java – Settings – Delete files.

    Delete all the files in your Windows Temp Directory.

    Reboot and re-install PRT.

    Hi Wazz,

    please send a technical report following these instructions:

    – Go to the “Help” menu on the ProRealTime toolbar.
    – Please assure that the window concerned by this issue is open.
    – Click on “Technical support”
    – Choose the category
    – Select the concerned window in the drop-down menu.
    – Giving as much detail as possible, explain the issue you are having in the text box.
    – Click “Send report”

    This will send a report containing technical information concerning your platform, which will allow the technical team to run a diagnostic analysis of the issue you have come across.

    Are you using the launcher or the java version of ProRealTime? Via http://www.prorealtime.com or via a version provided by your broker?
