    Hi

I have the same custom indicator on multiple timeframes. When PRT is loading, the indicator can re-calculate repeatedly on one or more timeframes while the other timeframes are loading.

Does anyone might know why this is?

I can’t share the indicator code unfortunately.

    Thanks

    Rob

All indicators, both custom and built-in ones, at times re-calculate on some timeframes while other timeframes are loading.

It is ALWAYS like that, but you can rarely notice the delay among them because they are so fast, but if you have several TF charts open at the same time, maybe loading 100-200,000 units each it may happen to watch some delay, of course custom indicators are slower to load and re-calculate especially if the calculation on their bars hasn’t been limited.

Common computers cannot do multiple tasks at one time, but their speed or having multi-core cpu’s may easily simulate multitasking capabilities taking advantage of idle times.

When internet speed slows down or the servers are too busy it may happen to spot such delays.

Thanks. I guess was hoping there might be a ‘calculate once on load’ option, maybe a future feature request.
