    Hi,

    I would like to use the MACD line indicator and apply a simple moving average (period=1, horizontal shift -1) to the MACD line. I wanted to backtest when these lines cross but I am unable to choose the moving average in the criteria, however, when I don’t apply a shift, the indicator can then be chosen( by chosen I mean it appears in the criteria, otherwise it does not even appear when shift is applied). so I am thinking if the two indicators are programmed into one indicator, it might then work..

    To sum up, I want to:

    Insert simple moving average to the macd line of the macd line indicator. All lines and histogram date will be invisible or hidden so only the MACD line and the MA is shown. But if I still wont be able to run backtesting on this, it might not matter anyway..

    Thank you,

    kind regards

    Something like:

    shift = average[1](MACDLine[12,26,9](close))[1]

    return shift

    Could do the trick (not tested).
