I discovered today that there is difference in the profit/loss values between IG and PRT.

I compared the amounts and totals between the IG profit/loss report and the PRT report in a spreadsheet.
The differences are subtle but they are there. One does not notice it at a glance but once you start comparing then you see the differences.

According to IG these values should be the same. That is also what I though.
I sent IG a spreadsheet showing the differences – awaiting a reply.
May be it is just mine but we will see.

May be this is something everybody here reading this should double check.
    Help to catch the glitch.

Please kindy note all dividend and interest are not count in PRT, may be that’s the reasons behind.

The difference in figures are without dividend and interest.
The differences varies from a few cents to a few £ per transaction. In just two days there was a difference of £120. How much would that be over a year…

The open and close prices and hh:mm:ss are the same. So the difference does not come in there.
Guys do your own comparison and you will see.

IG says they will investigate with PRT.

    Let me rephrase.

The amounts/trades in question does not include interest and or dividends. They are straightforward buy/sell transactions on forex, index and commodities.
