IG Spreadbet through PRT Sign Up?

Hi all,

Am eager to start learning ProRealTime and implement some simple strategies within ProRealCode. However, I am a bit unsure on the best route to sign up. My chosen broker of the 3 would be IG.

But I see that you can either sign up through PRT via https://trading.prorealtime.com/en/ig or through IG via https://www.ig.com/uk/trading-platforms/prorealtime.

On IG’s sign up/download page I can see it offers Spreadbetting, but the PRT link it does not mention anything on Spreadbetting, I am in the UK for reference.

I want ideally to be able to use their spreadbetting trading however would like to clarify that this is offered through the PRT sign up route, as I believe this method of signing up gives me a better software version.

Any help is greatly appreciated and happy to join the community 🙂

IG direct for spreadbet.

PRT direct no spreadbet!

So, things have now changed recently the helpful support team told me. You can indeed get spread betting through the ProRealTime link now as well as the IG link. 🙂
