    As all the above are variable (by the broker) and unpredictable … I would think that the Systems, Indicators and Screeners on here give just as reliable / unreliable results (due to above challenges) on exchange data as they do on CFD / SB data??

    Results from code on here may even be more reliable on exchange data … due to less variation in the challenges listed in previous post?

    For example … I’ve been getting attached error message all day on a System that has worked fine on the DJI for weeks up until today. I can’t see a Regulated Exchange playing the same game with their customers??

    I may be talking myself into an exchange linked account here?? 🙂

    Read on ProOrder forum, me and @nonetheless also had this problem only this night.

    To be sure I get it right….

    1. With the CFDs account you operate with IG
    2. And with the “real market” account you operate with InteractiveBrokers

    And this two are the only options for operate through PRT, isnt´it?

    Asked IG customer service. They said Version 11 release is not in the pipeline. Looks like it might take them 1 more year if they were ever going to release it. Truly unreliable

    @GraHal There is no “spread” on futures as we known it with a CFD contract. But your order could not be executed at some levels because of lack of liquidity in the orders book.

    Is there any update on Version 11 Released date by IG?

    We are now in March. Initially they said end of 2019, still no update.

    Yes they have no clue.

    Its pretty annoying that these guys keep moving the dates. So even if they tell you any date, it would be hard to believe them. Hopeless.

    Considering the current events, no new release could be deployed. Everyone’s working at home now, not a good time to do such major update to thousands of clients around the world..

    IG was already more than a year before the virus issue despite many requests for a release. Now the virus has taken over. I guess, we will see new version at end of 2021 if lucky once every person on earth has been vaccinated. Lets forget about v11. If v10 is not suitable, the only option is to either switch to another broker with v11 or total change.

    Look on the bright side.  By the time IG do switch to v11 all the bugs will have been well and truly found and sorted. At the moment if you want to use PRT for auto trading then going with IG and v10.3 is your only option. For manual trading Interactive Brokers will give you v11.

    IB have an Australian brokerage so I don’t see any reason why not. I think you have to open the account via PRT to get the platform benefits.

    PRT wont allow Australia when filling the form. So, if we are in Au we cannot use PRT with any broker via PRT, is that correct?

    That’s odd. When I try to fill in the application it gives an Australia option.
