IG DJI Trailing Stop/Breakeven code for Minute <

  I thought I’d give a DJI scalping bot on Time Frames lower than a minute a go, does anyone have a Trailing Stop/Breakeven code they regularly use on second Time Frames that doesn’t get repeatedly spat out by IG, particularly interested in it’s values?

  I’ve emailed IG  for a minimum and maximum of the weeks ranges but looking for a way to limit exposure whilst not stopping my strategy, whether this is running it with no trailing stop as I think it’s that it may be complaining about, I’m open to suggestions and grateful if anyone could advise of their own experiences with lower time frames.

  Have you tried ticking the box to  automatically vary stop levels?

  I tick the box now when my Algos get rejected for being less than IG minimum stop levels and I now get less rejects / stoppages.

  Thank you for your reply, I never have that ticked as I must admit the whole concept of allowing IG to have control of where my stop loss sits makes me a little nervous. I asked ProRealtime about other brokers providing ProRealtime automated trading solutions today but unfortunately still just IG. 🙁

  Weirdly I think IG kicking my low time frame bot may work in my favor as it always seem to come out in profit, although It stops it from being a fully automated strategy it definitely reduces time in the market.

  Looking at every obstacle as an opportunity ! 🙂
