I’ve been travelling down that road for a while.

Love PRT, but ASX live not available?

So join IG to get PRT, then no ASX.

So then join IG shares, no live data.

So then create CFD account, shares but no data.

Add live data feed, change time zone and finally I’m away.

Can finally use PRT live 1 minute /  tick charts for ASX.

Had the glitch with limiting views like when I went from daily to weekly it would only show me two months?

Fixed with another phone call and changed time zone settings.

I know doesn’t have full history and all spec stocks but going pretty good so far.

Foung a glitch the other day, it didn’t include closing price auction in last candle??

What a drama to use their service eh,

but I love it 🙂

PRT is pro, or once you are used to it, hard to use others?

Had Incredible charts which is still a good basic scanner,

but PRT alot flasher and Incredible charts 20 min delay.

You are comparing CFD contracts (made by IG) with Futures ones (centralized market), OHLC values are not the same so indicators calculation are different obviously 🙂

IG said the difference in the candles was a data entry error.

They missed adding the last closing price auction sale @ 4.10pm,

which brought the price down on the day from .96 ( green candle )

to .92 the real closing price.

They said the time set cut off the last data entry.

They recently tried to offer me ” Derived ” data, which they said was one pip off either the buy / sell.

They said by doing derived that is how they could offer it for free.

I still chose the direct data.

I want to see the exact price in real time.

The ” Push+” data streams match exactly my IRESS prices as they trade.
