Hey Guys,

ich have just a short question. Maby anybody knows why it is so.

Why does the IG Trading-Platform smooth also the indicators, if I set the candles to heiken ashi? (See the screenshots below.) Its the same thing in the app…

Why don’t smooth ProRealtime the indicators is i set the candles to Heiken ashi?

Your 1st image is how Heiken Ashi candles normally look.

You would need to look at the code behind Heiken Ashi candles to convince yourself it is normal.

If I am not understanding your question correctly or above does not answer your question then you need to explain further what is your problem?

Default indicators of the platform always use the real market price, so that’s why indicators don’t smooth according to the smoothed price of Heikin Ashi. If you want an indicator to use smoothed price, you’ll have to custom code it.
