I want to know is that all IG account sponsored by ProRealTime must station at UK?

Any chance move to Australia region if I am Hong Kong citizen, to avoid high margin impact?

Im from norway and i got the IG sponsored account by PRT. no problem here.

It seems IG have a policy of opening any new accounts as ‘limited risk’ accounts which means that if you currently have a ‘standard’ account then there may be some disadvantages to switching accounts.

I did it for a while but I could not use the new account for trading due to the limits of ‘limited risk’ and so after a short time the free PRT Premium live part of the account was taken away by IG. I now just use the demo part for strategy forward testing to give me an extra 25 strategy slots. One day IG will close the whole account for lack of use if I do not place the odd manual trade via the IG platform.

Do not close down any ‘standard’ account if you have one as you may need to return to it – and use it or you will one day lose it!
