Assumed I will buy the FAANG stocks. The stratergy (to each) is easy: crosses over MA100, go long. crosses unde MA100, exit.

It is still not possible to trade multiple stocks at the same time and with the same strategy, you’ll have to launch your strategy on each of the stock you want to be traded by your automatic trading program.

    Hi Nicolas,

If I have just one account, can I run several/multiple stratergies at the same time? Or I have to open several/multiple accounts like many other brokers?

With a Premium account, you can launch up to 100 automated trading strategies at the same time on the same account.

    Sounds good. Thanks!

    Sorry two questions:

    1.

This account would be opened by IG or by IB? I have an account by IB US. I also do automated trading with another platform. But I can just run one stratergy/program on my account. If I want to run multiple stratergies I have to open multiple accounts. So I wonder how do you do that,  100 automated trading strategies at the same time on the same account?

    2.

Can I use my exist account by IB US to trade? Or I have to open new account?

How many do you want to run at same time?

Easiest is to open a Demo account with IG but don’t fund your Live account and then see how you like it etc.

You can run 25 multiple Auto-Systems on an IG account.

Surely I have no 100 stratergies. I have in the moment 5.  According to the information by IG you can trade CFD and Forex, but not stocks and futures, right?

Now I understand more or less why one can run multiple stratergies at the same time on same account. This is possible by IG since the IG uses MT4 or MT5. By this platform one can run multiple stratergies at the same time as I do at the moment. But by IB is not the case, right?
