    Hi All,

I’m trying to change my target to break even if my trade goes against the entry. In such cases, is it safe to use SET TARGET PROFIT 0 ?

When I use SET TARGET PROFIT 0.5*pipsize the backtest results are drastically different.

Can anyone shed some light on this ?

    Thanks,

    Anish

Hello anikrish. Welcome to the forums. This topic is really a ProOrder Autotrading question so I have moved it to that thread.

You may also be interested in this topic that I started – and for which it appears a final answer was never found. I guess the answer is don’t use SET Stop Loss with a value of zero as it does not work (unless someone has fixed it and it now does cancel the stop order like it says it should do in the PRT documentation).

SET value at zero weird results.

Thank you both.. I will avoid SET Stop Loss with a value of zero
