What kind of computer should I get or build to gain as much speed as possible when using optimizations during test, like when I use more than two variables etc.

i have a apple mimi with M1 processor and 16Gb RAM. Thinking of building a PC to cut down the time it takes to run.

what is the main components I should focus on?

    RAM? Processor? Harddrive?

I guess a minimal GPU is needed or can a better GPU also speed things up? 😊

It takes many many hours to process three parameters on 200K candles…

And is there a maximum, when it becomes “overkill”, like if I put an insane amount or RAM, where is the limit. 😉

Optimisation speed has little to do with our PC’s as the processing is undertaken remotely on the PRT Servers.

I generally limit my combinations to 100; this could be 2 variables at 50 combos each or 1 at 100 combos then optimise another variable.

Is that really sustainable with all the people using this? Hope they can put this feature on the client side instead, it would be better for all of us I think. 😅

I never thought it was made on server side . 😳

Thank you for clearing things up. No need for a new PC then. 😆
