I am a premium user of PRT and have been trying to access 3hrs timeframe for Apple stock data for 2yrs but have realised the maximum i can get is 1yr. Please what do i need to do in order the get more data?
Are you sure you have set sufficient “units” to get more data displayed? I can get data back from 2006 on the 3-hours timeframe!
@Nicolas,
Yes i can confirm i have set enough units as indicated in my earlier message. Whenever i set units to more than 2yrs data, the timeframe automatically changes from 3hrs to 1 week.
IG Premium (sponsored account)? Can you share a screenshot of your AAPL chart and your units settings please?
@Nicholas,
Yes you are right, IG Premium (funded account). But using demo to test my strategies.
Please find attached screenshot showing restrictions in the units of data with smaller timeframes.
As stated earlier , as soon as you select bigger data units 2yrs and above, the set timeframe of 3hrs automatically increase or change to 1 week.
Hello, any updates on this issues ? please .

Can you share a screenshot of your AAPL chart and your units settings please?
I think Nicolas is still waiting…
@JS
I have done that long ago.
I have shared the screenshot in my previous messages. Is clearly showing

Only your AAPL chart (no probacktest) with timeframe 3 hours.

I mean, sent a screenshot of only your AAPL chart (without any pro backtest) with timeframe 3 hours.

I don’t use a demo account but obviously it is a restriction in the demo.
I always backtest on my premium account (without restrictions), so if you have a premium account why not backtesting there with full historical data?
@JS
I sorry to inform you that even my premium live account is having the same results in data volumes exactly they way it is in the demo.
Meanwhile IG is charging me not not executing any trades ever since i opened the account.
Please i need this sorted to enable me carry out proper backtesting.
