I am searching instruments which can be backtested beyond the year 2000 on daily candles.
Since not all instruments do have this historical data right away on PRT 10.2 IG-Version, I have some question and hope you can help:
a) Is there a overview, where I can see which instruments do have which historical data?
b) Somebody told me, that if I put a instrument on my watchlist, it will have more hist. data later on. But that doesnt seem to work?
c) Do I have more daily-candle data on more instruments when I will switch to premium? Is that possible which PRT@IG? see http://ee.md.it-finance.com/IGIndex/features_premium.phtml
d) Does the data change? So, when I run through all instruments and check the historical data, on the next week these results are not the same?
