Hi, I am new to coding Pro real time for automating trading and am still coming to terms with learning the code.
I’ve been using the guides from the prorealtime site itself so far and while they’re a little helpful, they’re still not very clear on a lot of things.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any guides out there where, either written or video, that are good for beginners still learning the code?
Hi
When you say “the guides”, I assume you mean the 3 pdf documents from PRT website, one for ProBuilder, one for Probacktest/Proorder, one for ProScreener.
You also have documentation available for each keyword on this website here: http://www.prorealcode.com/prorealtime-documentation/
and plenty of videos here: http://www.prorealcode.com/category/blog/video-tutorials/
and here: https://www.prorealtime.com/en/video-tutorials
Perfect just the sort of information I was looking for to learn how to code in this language. Thanks Noobywan! I am trying to turn the rules that I use in my own trading into automated systems. I know what I want the code to do but don’t know how to code it. I will look over these resources you posted. Thanks.
Hi Haydn,
You’re welcome, since writing previous message of this topic, I would add to the list Nicolas’ new video training (in French so far, need to ask him if he’ll do them in English too) https://www.prorealcode.com/formations-prorealtime/
Please update your country in your profile (top right corner on your photo profile, then click “settings” in the menu, then choose a country in the location drop-down list, which will add automatically your flag in your profile description in forum messages), thanks.
