    I would appreciate if someone can help me resolve this issue in the attached screen.

    I find it frustrating if something works at the backtesting of the IG and then when you go to apply it it does not work.

    With only the error message to check out, it becomes guesswork on our part, but try adding ENDIF as the last line in your code.

    From the little I can read of your code (behind the error box), I see that on line 10 you’re defining 3 variables on the same line…
    You’re using a language not recognized by PRT.
    If you want to define the macd line, the signal, and the histogram, you’ll have to do it in 3 separate lines using the code that PRT provides by default. You can view the glossary by clicking on Fx help.

    Excuse me for my ignorance …its because i am new into this (not trading, not daytrading BUT programming). Is there a place in this forum where i can send the code i wrote and they can correct it? Is it free or there is charge? Thanks!

    • the correct forum for posts about automated strategies is PROORDER
    • a title should be meaningful.

    Apart from the code (which I didn’t spot anyway) behind your first error message posted you have not provided any further code for anybody to help you with your second error.

    If you post your code on here then somebody will help.
