Great site, have visited almost daily to check what is new over the last 6 months. I am still working for the same software company I joined in the late 80’s [now 3 days a week] and have done most roles along the way, tester, programmer/analyst and project manager which is a big help for developing algos. I got into spread betting through IG about 15 months ago and got really excited when I discovered PRT came with the account and have spent many, many hours developing my own systems some of which are based on indicators I found on this site, with 40+ running live at the moment. I manually trade price action on equity index futures and hope to make it work eventually 🙁 , I should stick to my automated strategies which have been way more successful [so far at least].

Yeah seems Auto’s been a ‘stowaway on the PRC ship’ up to now, but I’m glad he’s come out of hiding.

I’m a member of the ‘North West Forex Traders MeetUp Group’ (link below) they have a monthly pub meet up near Warrington. Nobody seemed to be into Auto-Trading so I’ve only been once! Looking back though, even at one meet-up, I ‘cross-fertilised’ a few good ideas which I researched and it improved my manual trading.
