    Hi,

    When I try to hedge a position pro real time automatically closes my original position. Why is this and how do I stop it from happening??

    Change the setting at the red arrowhead on attached.

    Read the ? to see what each setting means and try it out on Demo first so you get used to it!

    Hi There: Can you explain to me how to change the settings so that I can hedge?… I don’t see the option on V12 every time I try to hedge , the platform closes my original trade…

    I would much appreciate your help…

    Did you follow my instructions 3 posts up?

    May be slightly different on v12 (I’ve not got v12)?

    To find the setting … enter ‘Force Open‘ in the search bar when on the Settings screen.

    Yes…thanks for responding. I do see your post 3 up…but on V12 there seems to be no way to enable or disable the market order….

    When I type in “Force Open” in the settings search window, nothing comes up…..

    batesmotel, you are most very 100% probably working in PRT-IB (and V12). The feature does not exist there.
    With PRT-IB no hedging possible at all. 🙁
    Formally not even more than one System on an Instrument possible … (AutoTrading).
